Ghanaian police retrieves corpses of 'Takoradi missing girls' abducted by a Nigerian from septic tank

Ghanaian police retrieves corpses of Corpses of the 3 Takoradi Girls Ruthlove Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie declared missing between August-December 2018, have been found in septic tank embedded in a property which was previously occupied by the key kidnap suspect Samuel Udoetuk-Wills. 

The corpses were retrieved from a septic tank at Kasaworodo a suburb of Takoradi on Friday night August 2, after a search was conducted by the Ghanaian police with the aid of sniffer dogs.

Ghana's local media reported that the Nigerian kidnapper Samuel Udoetuk-Wills, allegedly led the police to the area located near the hostel of the Methodist Girls Senior High School and it was subsequently cordoned off at about 5:30 pm with the help of officers of the Prisons Service.

In a statement issued by the Head of Public Affairs Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) DSP Juliana Obeng, the police said "the discovered human remains would be sent to the forensic science laboratory of the Ghana police service for analysis and further investigation."

"As part of investigations into the three (3) Takoradi kidnapped girls, the Criminal Investigation Department and the Western Regional Command earlier this evening August 2, 2019, conducted an operation at Kansaworodo, a suburb of Takoradi," the police statement said.

"During the operation which took place at about 7 pm, some human remains were retrieved from a septic tank at an uncompleted building. The building was previously occupied by convict Samuel Udeotuk-Wills who is one of the accused persons standing trial for allegedly kidnapping the three (3) Takoradi girls," the police statement added.
