Mrs. Anuri Maduwuike, wife of the Anglican Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese, Emmanuel Maduwuike was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Thursday August 22.
The cleric's wife was abducted at Ekemele while on her way home from Owerri. Punch reported that Imo state's Police Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu confirmed the incident but said Mrs. Maduwuike’s abductors are yet to establish contacts with her family.
