Newly wedded man commits suicide after his wife allegedly confessed to be pregnant for another manA man identified as David Jiet Chawul, took his life on Monday evening, August 12, two days after his wedding held on Saturday 10th, Aug, 2019 in Juba,  Republic of South Sudan.

David Jiet, a graduate of New Generation University College, Ethiopia, committed suicide when his new wife allegedly confessed that she was pregnant for another man.

Mr. David Jiet from Agaar community of Rumbek, a biological brother of Gen. Saed Chawul the former Inspector General of Police, wedded Rebecca Ekuen from Yirol on Saturday in freedom Hall in Juba.

The family describes the incident as “unfortunate and untimely”
"Nothing breaks our hearts more than having a world that no longer has you in it. You taught me everything i can remember, gave me a meaningful life. To be like you was my aim and now you are gone just like that.. Why Why. You were and are still an inspiration to all our lives. Deep in our hearts we will always keep your image.
You truly be missed and forever be remembered.
