US Army Behavioral Health Specialist, popularly known as The Emotion Doctor, Oyinkansola Alabi, has said that the era of expecting a child one rejected in childhood to seek them in adulthood is over.
"We are no longer in that generation where you expect a child you rejected and abandoned in childhood to look for you in adulthood. If you chose to abandon them in childhood for whatever "juicy" reason, they can choose to erase you from their mental health too," she wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday.
