Violence is wrong...if you get to a point where you can no longer live with your husband or wife in peace, the right thing to do is to separate for a while. Separation will help you think, free of funny emotions.
A married woman, Mrs. Margaret Onya, who lives at 35, JB Street, Ekosodin quarters, off Ugbowo-Lagos Road around University of Benin, has narrated what let to her husband setting her ablaze.
Speaking from her hospital bed at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, the woman said:
“We had a quarrel and my husband told me he would teach me a lesson. After our disagreement, I sat on the chair and my husband went inside, brought petrol and wanted to pour it on me.
“I held the jar and as we were dragging, I was shouting for help. He overpowered me and poured the contents on me and lit a match.
“I was saved by one of my neighbours who rushed into our apartment and put out the fire and then [rushed me] to the hospital,” the wife cried.

- why on earth would a sane man set his own wife on fire? No excuse at all. He needs serious help!
