Footballer, Daniel Amokachi, announces the death of his dad...photo

Iconic footballer, Daniel Amokachi's father, passed on last weekend. Daniel announced this on his Facebook wall this afternoon. He wrote

"My dear father passed away last weekend reaching almost the age of 100 years. Our family is naturally very saddened and heart-broken by the news, but when somebody becomes nearly a century old then this is something to be expected. 
A normal cycle of life. The memories remain close to my heart and my father's legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. May his soul rest in peace. I would like to take this occasion to thank you all for the messages of condolence and words of comfort that you have sent me through different channels".
