Following report that Former Vice President, Alex Ekwueme is dead after being admitted at the Memfys Neuro-surgical Hospital in Enugu following a chest infection, the elder statesman’s family has debunked the death report.
Younger brother of the former Vice President and the traditional ruler of Oko community in Orumba North Local Government of Anambra, Laz Ekwueme, who spoke to newsmen following the viral report, said his brother is alive, stable and responding to treatment.
