Barcelona FC star player, Lionel Messi, has in a new interview, revealed that he does not have a personal relationship with his counterpart, Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Argentine star in a chat with MARCA, stated that he doesn’t know if he will ever be friends with the portugese player.
He said;
“I do not know if we will be [friends]m” he told Marca . “Friendship is something that is built through spending time together and getting to know each other.“We have no relationship, but mostly because we only see each other in the awards ceremonies and it is the only time we speak. At that moment everything is fine, but then we do not cross paths again.”Messi was speaking following the presentation of his European Golden Shoe award where he refused to discuss his future.
The Argentine playmaker, who won the award for the fourth time after scoring 37 league goals last season, has not yet signed the new deal the club say he has agreed, meaning he will be free to join another team next season.
