Actress Aisha Abimbola sadly passed away in Canada after a long battle with breast cancer.

Here are some facts you should known about the late Yoruba Movie star who rose to stardom in 2001 when she was featured in the movie “Omoge Campus”.

• She was still running her Higher National Diploma (HND) at Lagos state polytechnic, LASPOTECH when she was discovered by Wale Adenuga Productions. She was studying Catering and Hotel Management.
• Until her death, she was formerly married to a colleague, Victor Ibrahim Musa and mother of two kids.
• In 2015, Aisha Abimbola won the City People Entertainment Award for Yoruba Movie Personality of the Year.
• She produced her first ever movie in 2016; “T’omi T’eje,” which was premiered in Atlanta, USA
