Women Protest Against Sowore’s Detention At The High Court In Abuja (Photos)




On Thursday, at a Federal High Court in Abuja, many naked women were seen protesting for the immediate release of Omoyele Sowore from DSS custody.

Sowore who has been granted bail by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of Federal High Court is yet to be freed even after reports have it that he had met bail conditions.

Sowore was arrested by the Department of State Services since August in Lagos for organizing a national protest tagged #RevolutionNow.



The women were seen removing their blouses and inner wears with just braziers left to drive home their demand to president Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the naked women, “Sowore is their son and they argued that he had not committed any crime and urged President Muhammadu Buhari to order his immediate release”.

The Publisher of Sahara Reporters and human Rights activist was expected in Court today.
