Actress Laide Bakare Rains Prayers On Kemi Afolabi

 


Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has heaped prayers on her ailing colleague, Kemi Afolabi Adesipe.

Esabod Global news reported that in March, Kemi Afolabi opened up on her battle with an incurable disease which has shortened her life span.

The actress bared it all and cried uncontrollably as she opened up on her life threatening ailment.

In an interview with show host, Chude Jideonwo, Kemi Afolabi disclosed that the doctor said she had five years to live.

According to her, the doctor told her to surround herself with people who love her and make memories.

Speaking about the sickness, Kemi revealed that she is suffering from Lupus, which is an incurable disease.

She stated that she has to be on medications for the rest of her lives.

As fasting and prayer for this year Ramadan comes to an end, Laide Bakare has made Kemi Afolabi one of her top most priority in her prayers.

Laide Bakare wrote, “Sending my heartfelt wishes and prayers your way @kemiafolabiadesipe”.

Esabod Global news recalls some social media users had expressed concern for Kemi Afolabi as her colleagues’ rained money at the housewarming party of Actress Laide Bakare.

On Wednesday, 30th March 2022, Laide Bakare hosted a star-studded event to unveil her new mansion worth a hundred million Naira.

Videos sighted online showed Nollywood stars in their numbers, such as Foluke Daramola, Ijebu, Madam Saje, Mama Ewekoro and many others celebrating with Laide Bakare.

Some videos also captured Nollywood stars and friends spraying Laide Bakare money as she danced in excitement.

However, some social media users had reminded Nollywood stars at the event not to forget their colleague, Kemi Afolabi, who is battling lupus.

Netizens opined that they should not forget that Kemi Afolabi also needs money for her health amidst the celebration.
