Nollywood actor and movie producer Yomi Fabiyi has stirred up the internet with positive reactions as he shares great insight on the importance of parenting amidst his colleague, Itele’s past mistakes.
Esabod Global News had reported that actor Itele who abandoned his four children from his previous relationship, made amends when he reconciled with them and acknowledged them publicly.
Few days later, Yomi Fabiyi took to Instagram to address the negligence or ignorance of parents on allowing social media to train their children.
The actor criticized parents and guardians who had abandoned their responsibilities to the social media to brainwash and lead them negatively.
Yomi Fabiyi also highlighted that other alarming tools are used as oppression and violation of rights, which the children are getting used to.
He wrote on Instagram: Parenting comes with a lot of responsibilities and the era of shifting blames or looking to hold someone responsible for your negligence or ignorance are over.
While the law punishes you, natural justice looms. Self Control is key. Social Media is good to dowse tension, explore and connect but only a fool will ignore the honest fact that IT IS MORE OF A DANGEOUS WEAPON AND TOOL now, bearing in mind it now mentors and brainwash lads negatively at an alarming rates.
A lot now use it as a tool of oppression and violations of rights. That is what your kids are getting used to. A burden on society, peace, justice and development.
