Brave Nigerian Police officer praised for preventing cylinders from exploding during fire incident at gas shop (photo)

This took place in Lagos state yesterday! According to an eyewitness at the scene, the officer pictured, saved the day after helping prevent further explosion of cylinders in a gas filling shop at Ola Farm b/stop, Abaranje rd, Ikotun.

The MOPOL who was with three others, reportedly approached the fire, took a bamboo stick to drag some cylinders that were yet to explode away from the fire. His arm was injured in the process and this was before the fire service men arrived.
