Pastor remanded in prison custody over alleged N62m fraud lailasnewsA Pastor identified as Isaac Arabambi, has been remanded in prison custody over an alleged N62m fraud following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office.The lawyer was reportedly gunned down in broad daylight at Opolo along the Mbiama-Yenagoa road, a few meters from the Police Area Command. The driver of the deceased and two other occupants of the car, were also shot by the suspects who snatched N2million he withdrew from the bank.


 
According to sources, the lawyer was followed from bank where he went to withdraw money and killed by the assailants after he refused to obey their order of opening his car. Practising lawyers in the state under the aegis of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Yenagoa and Sagbama branches, who marched the streets demanding justice for their colleague,  bemoaned rising insecurity in Bayelsa especially in Yenagoa, the state capital, saying the security agencies were not doing enough.
