Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji has vented his frustration over how people mistake his silence for weakness.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a video of himself airing out his frustration, he said that enough was enough, and it was time for him to come out straight and say his truth. He noted how he isn’t the type to chase clout and doesn’t have time for unnecessary publicity, but the way things are going, he needs to speak out.
Damola noted how the fact he doesn’t talk, decides to hold his peace, and lets things slide doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have his truth or doesn’t know what he’s doing.
“I am not the type that chases clout, and I don’t have time for unnecessary publicity, but the way things are going at the moment now, I just need to come out and say one or two things because enough is enough. The fact that I don’t talk, I hold on to my peace and let things slide, doesn’t mean that I don’t have my truth or I don’t know what I am doing. Do you understand?”.

Last week, Damola Olatunji replied to those asking if he is the father of his colleague Dayo Amusa’s son after he was captured sitting with her at her son’s naming ceremony. While responding to a fan who queried if he was the father of Dayo’s son, Damola confirmed that he was.
Recall that in May of 2023, Bukola shocked many when she announced her separation from Damola Olatunji. Issuing out a PSA through her solicitors, Bukola revealed that she and Damola are no longer an item and have parted ways. According to the statement, the estranged lovebirds were never married but were blessed with twins.
Damola, unbothered by the separation, took to his Instagram page to celebrate, sharing a video of himself enjoying life. In another post, he shared a dapper photo of himself; in his hashtag, he described himself as a grace carrier and a man without worries.
In an interview in July, Damola noted how people spread false information about him, accusing him of leaving his marriage, abandoning his house and all, which were incorrect. Hinting at what led to their crashed marriage, he noted how feelings die and love fades as he admonished couples to go their separate ways if the relationship isn’t working, then to become violent.
