Taiye Taiwo gets brace in Europe

Former Super Eagles left-back, Taiye Ismaila Taiwo scored a brace for HJK Helsinki in their 3-1 victory against FC Inter Turku in the Finnish Veikkausliiga on Monday.

Ghanaian-born Finnish midfielder, Solomon Duah opened scoring for Inter Turku in the 12th minute, Nikolai Alho equalized for HJK in the 18th minute. Taiwo responded with a brace in the 72nd and 80th minutes respectively; as the game ended 3-1 in favour of the home side at full time.
The 31-year-old Nigerian defender has netted three goals in his nine games appearance in the current season. Both Taiye Taiwo and Nnamdi Oduamadi, who is currently on a long-season loan from AC Milan were in 90 minutes action for HJK in the epic encounter.
