Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Gidado Idris, dies at 82A former Secretary to Government of the Federation, Gidado Idris, is dead. Mr. Idris died at the age of 82. He died in Abuja yesterday Friday 15th, after a protracted illness. He will be buried today Saturday, December 16th.
Born in Zaria, Kaduna state, Gidado was appointed SGF in 1993 and retired in 1999 after a civil service career that started before Nigeria’s independence.
