Nigerians Rejoice As Nigeria Is To Play Argentina, Iceland, Croatia In 2018 World Cup’s Group Stage

Nigerians rejoiced as the Super Eagles of Nigeria were drawn in Group D to play against Iceland, Croatia, and favorite rival, Argentina in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup scheduled to be held in Russia.

Nigeria first played against their arch-nemesis Argentina back in the 1994 World Cup. Since then they have met again at the group stage at three other times in 2002, 2010, 2014.
The Super Eagles will play against Croatia on June 16 in Kaliningrad.
The team’s last game in the group will be on June 26 against Argentina in St Petersburg. 
Nigerians were relieved by the draw, hoping that the Super Eagles would not draw into the group of death which consists of the hardest teams grouped into one. one.
