Sahara Reporters has reported that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, claims that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are planning to attack soft targets in the state.

dumosu revealed this at a stakeholders’ seminar on security presided by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday.

He also said that the command has been on alerts over possible attacks by agitators of Oodua Republic and other Yoruba separatist groups.

According to him, 24 of these groups have been identified and being

closely monitored.

CP Odumosu said 24 of such groups have recognized and are now closely kept under surveillance.

He added that the threats have been put on the radar of the Lagos Command intelligence-collection unit.

“The command has taken notice of agitators for Oodua Republic by some Yoruba separatist groups and the threats to disrupt law and order in the state. Twenty-four of these groups have been identified and being closely monitored.”

The State Commissioner of Police, therefore, urged Lagosians to report any suspicious movements around and report it to the security personnel.
