A 16-year-old student is currently cooling his heels in police custody for allegedly killing his classmate and friend due to a quarrel.
According to reports, the incident happened on Saturday night, November 17th in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire after the teenage suspect identified as Koulemou Paul believed to have had a concealed knife – met the victim, Dosso Hamed, 16, and killed him.
It was gathered that the suspect and the victim were having a dispute for weeks over an undisclosed issue before their last and final encounter.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he later passed away.
The suspect was arrested the next day (Sunday) and will be prosecuted by the police, according to reports.
