The ugly killings and violence happening in Igangan town in Oyo state is horrible and must be condemned in totality. It's quite sad that human lives now means nothing in the Nigeria of today. Kidnappings, banditry and wanton killings are now the norms in a democratic society with elected officials to protect lives and properties of the people.

It was reported that the killings in Igangan, Oyo state, were carried out by Fulani herdsmen in the community.
You'll agree that this violence didn't start today. It's a product of hatred and disunity that has been built between the Yorubas and Fulani people in the region for a while now. At the centre of it all is Sunday Igboho who's yet to respond to the killings of his kinsmen on a Sunday morning. Isn't it sad that we have Yoruba leaders who are yet to take decisive action to rectify and provide a long lasting solution to these horrible acts?
I ask you dear reader, what's the significance of the office of the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland? Is the office now for show and media paparazzi? Chief Gani Adams and other Yoruba groups including Afenifere have once more gone to the media to blame the Federal Government for these killings without providing any reasonable solutions to the Yoruba people.
Once again, I ask you, where's Sunday Igboho, Aare Ona Kakanfo and Afenifere amidst the killings of Yoruba people in Igangan?
