49-year-old man Garba Tukura, has been arrested by the Niger state Police Command for reportedly murdering his 65-year-old neighbour, Musa Wassa, who he reportedly flogged to death during a heated argument.
It was gathered that the incident reportedly occurred in Zazzaga Village in the Munya Local Government Area of Niger State, and the suspect reportedly used an engine belt to flog the deceased.
The State’s Police PRO, Peter Sunday said Musa who slumped into coma after the flogging was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Garba who was arrested by operatives attached to the Sarkin Pawa division, has long confessed to the crime.
