Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s China trip, a lot of celebrities have openly voiced their opinions on the state of the nation. Their opinions are shows they are not happy with the state of the nation and the recent trip of the president to China where he wants to borrow money to augment the economy of Nigeria.

 Kate Henshaw   The Nollywood actress took to her Twitter handle saying: “Padded and Unpadded Budget…it’s almost a year and nothing worth holding on to. I guess we will hear from China during the week. Thank you”

Joseph Benjamin

Joseph Benjamin  took to his Instagram timeline on Tuesday, April 12 to share his thought on Buhari’s recent trip to China. He is more particular about the reason behind Nigeria borrowing from China when some looted money has being allegedly recovered. He wrote: “Why go to China to negotiate terms and conditions to borrow $2billion when;
1) We are expecting $200billion from looted money stashhed away in Dubai.
2) America is helping us repatriate $6billion kept by former PDP Governor’s and ministers in the USA
3) Loads of thieves under Jonathan have returned millions of dollars
4) Trillions of Naira raked in by the Nigeria custom service
5) Millions of Dollars saved by the TSA and leakages have been blocked. Even if you are very dumb, you should at least be able to ask some simple questions.
Why borrow with an interest when you already have a lot? Except if the ‘fight against corruption” is just a scam.” The Nollywood actor had since deleted the Instagram post when it generated heated talk on his timeline or maybe because of his choice of words.

 bishop umoh
 Ime Bishop Bishop Umoh aka Okon Lagos Ime Bishop popularly known as Okon Lagos took to his Instagram timeline on Wednesday, April 13 to post video giving reasons behind Buhari’s China trip. He wrote: “Stop blaming the president for traveling to China. He is going there to learn Kung Fu in the Shaolin Temple so that he can come back and fight corruption. When the President comes back, corruption will fear. My name is Okon moray-sruess and I just want to make common sense. #okonlagos”
