Baba Fryo assaulted and battered by soldiers in Lagos

Veteran musician, Baba Fryo has shared pictures of how his face was battered when he got assaulted by some unknown Nigerian soldiers.The Dem Go Dey Pose hitmaker stated that the soldiers who assaulted him were allowed to escape by a female soldier. He however revealed that he has forwarded the case to the barracks and investigation has commenced.

Baba Fryo wrote:

I was humiliated by unknown soldiers I tried forced them to the barrack but a female soldier interfered and allowed them to escape. The case is under investigation. Thanks to Ojo Army barrack who took the case on their shoulder I pray they will surely be caught and brought to book.

In a recent interview, the Ajegunle-based singer advised the government to look into music as a way of moving the nation forward.

He said:

“Music is used to pass messages across in all areas of life.

 

“It is used every time, be it in times of celebration, death or war.

“Even actors and movie producers make use of music in their movies.”

He added that once the government gave full support to the growth of entertainment, the nation would move forward as a whole.

He said:

“The government should look in our direction because we’ve done our part.

“With their support, we will do greater things.

“There’s nothing bad about having a mini theatre in a place like Ajegunle.

“Apart from being an entertainment site, it will also help to generate revenue which will further be used to develop the community.”
