Mother of Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley was spotted in court today as men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over her son to men of the Nigerian Prison Service for detention in prison.
His remand in prison came following his arraignment in court today, May 20th, 2019.
He pleaded not guilty to 11 count charge filed against him by the anti-graft agency. Naira Marley until his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, he was in the detention facility of the EFCC.
Marley will be in detention until May 30, 2019.
If convicted of the charge, the musician shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than seven years or a fine of not more than N5,000,000.00 and forfeiture of the advantage or value derived from his act.
