Tragedy as Tornado in Oklahoma which ripped through a hotel has killed atleast two people and injured many.According to witnesses, people were being pulled from the rubble yesterday after The American Budget Value Inn in El Reno, Oklahoma was torn apart by the tornado in Oklahoma.
The Inn and a nearby mobile home park in the path of the twister was also destroyed. Rescue is still ongoing and therefore the total number of death is not conclusive. The city mayor Matt White confirmed the two deaths at the hotel.‘We have absolutely experienced a traumatic event here in El Reno. We had an incident where a tornado hit a mobile home park, a hotel and several business(es)’ Mayor White told ABC News.
According to some reports that are yet to be confirmed, 17 more people are said to be missing from the second floor. The tornado is believed to have touched down near to the junction of the Highway 81 and Interstate 40 to the south of the city.Storms have ravaged central US states the last week, and are continuing to threaten major flooding.
