Lobatan! See Calculation, Kogi State Teacher Idoko Comfort Couldn't Do

This took place Friday during the ongoing screening of civil servants in Kogi State. See Facebook post by Evangelist Kingsley Olorunfem, Director-General, Media and Publicity at Governor’s office, Kogi State Government:
“It is generational wickedness to employ someone as a teacher not because he/she is qualified but because you want to show political appreciation . Wonders shall never end. A “teacher”, Idoko Comfort was asked to subtract 1988 from 2017 at the screening centre today. She was also asked to write “I obtained my first degree in Guidance and Counselling”.
See what she wrote. She couldn’t even read her certificate. We need deliverance in this state. And these are the people teaching our children. The rot in the civil service must be sanitized. We are currently investigating the authenticity of the certificates. It is about you!”

Nigerian Police Warn Citizens Of the New Tactics 419 People Now Operate With...Beware!!!

Image result for images of scammers in nigeria
The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, Mr. Olusola Amore has warned of a new method which fraudsters now use in scamming Nigerians.
A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi, on Friday stated that the fraudsters’ earlier scam of sending out text messages to people claiming that their Bank Verification Number had been deactivated was no longer effective, hence their new strategy.
The CP said in the new trick, an e-mail would be sent to people’s phones as if it emanated from their bank’s e-mail service,Punch reports.
He added that the fraudsters would inform their victims that N7,000or more had been debited from their account as subscription fee for the bank’s monthly digest magazine and that the charges would be deducted monthly.
According to him, the fraudsters would then provide a ‘scam link’ that one should click on if he wishes to stop or unsubscribe.
Amore said,
“Once the link is clicked on, a page will open where the bank details and Automated Teller Machime information of the victim is required. If the information is provided, they are able to gain access into the victim’s personal account.
“The command is therefore using this medium to alert members of the public on this new scam method so as to guide against falling victim.
“The safety of lives and property of residents of Kwara State is paramount to the command, hence, people are advised to be more vigilant.”

Watch The Terrible Things Lady Said Happens In Nigerian Embassy UK

Nigerians in the UK have continued to lament over the poor service they are getting from the Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom.
The Nigerian woman lamenting over the poor service condition at the Nigerian Embassy in the United Kingdom
A Nigerian lady has taken it upon herself to expose the poor service Nigerians living abroad are facing at the Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom. She said lambasted embassy officials for the odd manner they treat Nigerians who come to process documents or perform functions there.
The woman fumed at the embassy officials because of their poor customer service relationship and slow manner in handling things.
A Facebook user, Maureen Edeki had also complained about the same thing writing sometime ago, writing: “The service at the Nigerian Embassy [U.K] is very poor, the staff are rude and delay the whole process, so as far as I am concerned give yourself enough months to process your application.
I already shared my story about what the girl at the ois visa counter required from me before issuing a common visa to travel to Nigeria, [An endless list of documents and utility bills, bank statement, invitation letter, proof of accommodation both here and abroad, supporting letter from spouse or whomever I would stay with, whomever invited me, in fact it was ridiculous – she was not prepared to process my app until I went to her boss who immediately sorted it all out, knowing I had several days to depart, and travel out – even with proof of travel, and proof of payment, they make your life hell.]
So basically, don’t wait until the last minute when it comes to your travel documents. Hopefully 2017 will be a better year in every respect. # Have you ever gone out of your way to help someone only to find out how ungrateful they really are?!?!?!? That’s life my dear !!!!”
Even after all the complaints by Nigerians in the UK, things have not changed as it is still the same old story. The Federal Government has been called upon to address this issue as it portrays a bad image for the country. The lady lamented in the video that she has been at the embassy more than two times and it is still the same thing. She further revealed that most people in order to beat the system are being forced to bribe officials just for their documents to be made available in time.

Notorious Criminal Confesses: 'I Have Raped Up To 7 Ladies'

For 11 years, Emmanuel Nwobilo AKA Ukunwayin, a native of Umuwankwo area of Abia State, allegedly operated criminal activities of kidnapping, scam and r*pe.

By his own admission, each time he was caught by the police, the case never got to court as he always found ways of getting himself off the hook with money.

But when he landed in the net of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of Abia State Police Command recently, he was made to chronicle his crime activities on camera.

In a video posted online by an operative of SARS in the state, Nwobilo, explained that since 2006 when he had been actively involved in crime, he had r*ped up to seven ladies.

He said, “I was taught by Emmanuel Sunji, my cousin. He taught me the kidnapping business and how to defraud people. I work together with ‘Foreigner’ who is also a member of my gang.”

The police said the young man he identified by the alias, Foreigner, is on the run. According to Nwobilo’s statement, while he r*ped some of their victims, Foreigner apparently dipped his fingers in their private parts.

It was learnt that Nwobilo’s gang operate by using tricycle riders to lure their victims.

According to him, every day, he gave N1,500 to each rider to fuel their tricycles and they use this to kidnap their victims or in some cases, use them to transport victims they intend to defraud.

He said his gang made each scam victim swear an oath of secrecy about their encounter.

But some of the victims usually summoned the courage to report to the police.

He said, “I know that the police had been looking for me. I had been arrested many times in the past. But I usually settled the complainants.

“I have never been charged to court. I was once detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Umuahia on a case of a woman I defrauded of N50,000. I also r*ped the woman. But when I was arrested, I begged for the case to be settled out of court and compensated the woman with N100,000. The case was closed and I was not charged to court.”

Nwobilo’s recent arrest is a result of defrauding another victim of N800,000, which he has also confessed to.

Asked what he intended to do now that he had been recaptured by SARS on allegations of kidnapping, r*pe and advance fee fraud, Nwobilo explained that he was willing to pay back any of his victims who showed up.

Few months ago, Nwobilo and his gang defrauded an unidentified woman of $10,000 (over N3m).

He was arrested alongside the individual said to be the leader of the gang. Nwobilo identified the man by the alias, ‘Double’

He said, “Double, who is our gang leader, got N1.7m out of the $10,000, while I got N840,000. Another member of our gang, Chidi, got N600,000.

“After we were arrested by the police, we were able to pay the woman back and we were cleared. The police did not charge us to court.”

Nwobilo said he intended to pay back the N800,000, he was accused of obtaining from his latest victim fraudulently.

“I can pay N400,000 now and the balance later. I don’t want to go to court, this is why I am pleading to be allowed to settle the case. If while I am in custody, any of the past victims come, I can settle them too,” he said.

Update! We killed more people after Vampire’s escape - gang member

Obinna Ela, one of the gang members of the vicious kidnap kingpin, Henry Chibueze, aka Vampire, said that their squad unleashed more mayhem and terror on the members of the public after freeing their leader (Vampire) in a commando-like manner at the premises of Owerri High court.

Vampire, who was facing trial on offences bordering on kidnapping, murder, was forcefully freed by men armed with sophisticated weapons on a day his fate on the matter was to be decided.

Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, the state capital on Thursday, while being paraded by the police, Obinna said that Vampire took him to four kidnap operations after his escape from the court.

He denied being among the gang that masterminded the onslaught at the Court, but Obinna said he coordinated 4 abduction operations with Vampire and was paid N100,000 by the ring leader.

He also claimed that a police officer was their driver during the kidnap operations and that they were shuttling through, Imo, Abia and Rivers states, respectively

The 26-year-old suspect who hails from Orlu Local Government Area of the state was unable to disclose the identity of the police officer as the operatives of the command battled to control the crowd that besieged the headquarters to behold the dreaded gang.

Addressing journalists, the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, who paraded the dead body of Vampire and four other members of his gang, said that the Police Special Force working under the supervision of the state Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu, swooped on the hideout of Chibueze in the early hours of Thursday.

The police spokesperson said that the police engaged the gang in a gun duel for hours in the dreaded Omu Awa forest in Ikwerre area of Rivers State, killed Chibueze and arrested four of his men.

He gave the names of the nabbed guys as, Obinna Ela, Arinze Abecheta, Chukwuebuka Ikeazota, Samuel Ugochukwu and Clifford Aheana and added that ammunitions were recovered.

Moshood recalled that Vampire was a cultist who turned a vicious and dangerous kidnapper and armed robber and was declared wanted by the police since 2013.

He was responsible for several kidnappings, murder of notable personalities including the killing of his girlfriend, Sandra, and 8 members of her family in Lagos for allegedly stealing his N45m share of N110m ransom paid by the family of one of his victims in Omoku, Rivers State.

The Police spokesperson said that Vampire, whom he described as a serial killer had confessed to have killed over two hundred people in kidnap and armed robbery cases.

While he asserted that the apprehended members of the gang would be charged to court at the end of investigations, Moshood said “The Inspector General of Police wishes to assure the good people of Imo State and other states of the federation of adequate security and implore them to cooperate with the police personnel deployed in their localities.”

My Love For Money Made Me Ingest 69 Wraps Of Cocaine – Arrested spare parts dealer

A suspected drug trafficker, Emeka Okafor, has confessed that he went into narcotics trade to get enough money to rent a shop and invest in his business.

28yrs old Mr. Okafor was among three suspects arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The NDLEA said, in a statement on Friday, that it also arrested a suspect smuggling ephedrine inside female footwears.

“The names of the suspected drug traffickers are Ogujiuba Zacchaeus, 48 years old electrician caught exporting 26.6kg of ephedrine to Tanzania; Uchegbu Emeka, 33 years old textile merchant smuggling 305 grammes of cocaine to Cambodia and Okafor Emeka, 28 years old automobile parts dealer caught importing 1.370kg of cocaine from Sierra Leone,” the agency said in a statement by its spokesperson, Mitchel Ofoyeju.

The agency said all the cases were being investigated and the suspects would appear in court soon.

“My love for money made me to ingest 69 wraps of cocaine 1.370kgs in Sierra Leone,” the agency quoted Mr. Okafor, an automobile parts dealer in Lagos, as saying.

Another suspect, Mr. Ogujiuba, said he was introduced into the illicit trade by an old friend.

“I am married with six children and I reside in Abia where I work as an electrician,” the suspect was quoted as saying.

“The ephedrine was carefully hidden inside female shoes and given to me by an old time friend. He told me to take the drug to Lagos and handle the shipping arrangements to Tanzania. Unfortunately, I was arrested during examination of the consignment after the drug was discovered. I regret ever getting involved in drug trafficking.”

On his part, Mr. Uchegbu, who allegedly inserted seven wraps of cocaine into his anus in a bid to evade arrest blamed his involvement on joblessness.

I am a textile merchant but today I am jobless. I lost everything due to economic recession and family problems,” he said.

“That was why I agreed to collect the sum of eight hundred thousand naira to smuggle cocaine to Cambodia. My intention was to invest the money in legitimate business.”

NDLEA Chairman, Muhammad Abdallah, assured that the agency would ensure that offenders are severely sanctioned to deter others from engaging in drug trafficking.

Police, Produce My Husband Alive Or Show Me His Corpse – Wife of missing officer

When Mr. Musa Sunday, an Inspector with the Nigeria Police Force, left his house for the office on Friday, November 25, 2016, he promised his wife and children he would be back three days after. But unknown to all of them, that could be the last time they would see one another.

As it later turned out, since that day, 45-year-old Sunday, who is a father of four (aged 4, 6, 8 and 12), had been nowhere to be found. His Force Number was given as 209715.

During an interaction with Punch during the week, the family members, including the wife, his children, brother and cousin, all of whom had become restless over the issue, called on the police authorities to produce him in one piece and if he had been killed, they want to see his corpse.

One after the other, they gave the details of what led to his disappearance.

His wife, 27-year-old Halimat, who struggled to suppress tears from rolling down her cheeks as she spoke to our correspondent, said they had reliable information that Sunday was detailed from the office to lead two other policemen to Akodo in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos to resolve a land dispute between two communities in the area.

She continued, “They were deployed there to maintain peace in that area. We learnt that when they got there, the hoodlums were attacking a man, so they moved closer and rescued the man. He then told the other two policemen to go and put the man in the car so he could be safe.

“Before they came back to where my husband was, the hoodlums had pounced on him and took him away and he was nowhere to be found.

“It was as if he was overpowered. Sensing danger as they kept increasing in number, the other two had to run away. Perhaps the deployment was not adequate. Since then, we have not heard from him.”

Halimat recalled that on November 29, the day they went for the operation, at about 4pm, she spoke with him and he promised to be back the following day.

But in the evening when his children demanded to speak with him, she said she kept trying his number until around 12am but it was not reachable.

However, she said fears began to set in when the wife of her husband’s elder brother suddenly called her around 12am to tell her all would be fine and that nothing would happen to him.

She added, “I thought I couldn’t reach him because of network problem. After that woman’s call, I tried him again but the number wasn’t available. In the morning, some of his colleagues started calling me to tell me what happened. That was when I was convinced there was a problem.”

She said the husband’s brother, Dr. Amanabo Musa, his cousin, Mr. Jonathan Arome and herself had since then been visiting the police headquarters in Lagos but nothing was happening.

She added, “Three months after, they keep telling us they are on it. We learnt they have arrested the prince that hired the hoodlums but nothing has happened since then. We (including my children) have tried several times to meet with the police commissioner (Fatai Owoseni), because we are suffering, but he refused to see us. It was when I became insistent that they allowed us to see the deputy commissioner, who said they were looking into the case.

“His children keep asking after him. His aged mother, who has high blood pressure, has not stopped asking for his whereabouts and we don’t even know what else to tell her. I’m worried.”

Recalling his last moment with the family, she said when he was leaving for work that morning, she had told him they didn’t have money again, but he promised to give them more when he came back. They never knew that he might never come back.

At the moment, she said since the disappearance of their breadwinner, they had been struggling to survive, while their children had been having hard times in their schools because of her inability to pay their fees.

Halimat, who does not have a job, added, “The children are all in school but the schools have started harassing them. For one in boarding school, we were made to sign an undertaking that we would pay.

Nobody from the police cared to check on us, and now we don’t have money because we don’t have access to his ATM pin.

I want my husband to come back. The children are suffering, and I can’t carry the load alone.”
While commending the efforts of the Officer-in-Charge of SARS in Lagos State, under whom Sunday worked before he went missing, Amanabo, who is a brother to Inspector Sunday, said since some arrests had been made, the police should have made progress in unravelling the mystery behind his brother’s disappearance.

He said, “We call on the Inspector General of Police (Ibrahim Idris) to urgently compel the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State to produce my brother. They said they had made some arrests, what have they found out? We want to know if he’s dead or alive. If he is no more, where are his remains?

“The disposition of the police authorities in the state could tempt one to presume complicity, because we heard they have made some arrests, yet nothing has been done. Or is there anything they are not telling us?”

Also, his cousin, Jonathan, said the police should have mobilised his colleagues to go back to that place to look for him immediately the incident happened but that they heard the CP stopped them from doing that. He said since the police were able to recover his mobile phone, they should have been able to trace him.

He added, “We learnt there is a man that is privy to all that happened, but he is walking freely. They have identified him. Why has he not been arrested? We also heard they had arrested two people that were using his phone. The family is aggrieved and in pain.”

The police Inspector, who would have marked his 45th birthday last December as he did every year, was nowhere to be found, while his children waited endlessly for his return. In fact, the last Christmas and New Year celebrations were understandably gloomy for them all.

The evidently distressed wife said, “During Christmas, he had promised to take the children home to see their grandmother, and he does that every year, but that didn’t happen last year because of his absence.

“We need him back. The last time I told my pastor about it, he said we should be praying. The children miss their father. They keep asking me when their dad is coming back and sometimes, they are recluse.

“The police authorities should produce him alive, and if he is dead, they should show me his corpse.

Speaking on the command’s efforts to rescue the missing policeman, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said he could not comment on the issue as he was yet to be briefed since he resumed.

He therefore directed our correspondent to the state commissioner of police, Mr. Owoseni, who did not pick his calls nor reply the text message sent to his line as of the time of filing this report.

Roman said he told his family 'the whole tragedy of my life and then they understood what happened to me'. Speaking about the video Wavey said: 'I think there's a lot to take from this video.
'There's a sense of history in understanding how far we've come, and the struggles that this man must have experienced. There's gratitude for the LGBT people who marched and rallied and bleed and sweat so that today's world is different ― and that fewer people feel compelled to live in the shadows or closets.
'But there's also raw humanity. Whether you are queer or not, listening to Roman stirs something in all of us.

He said:

“I’m a car panel beater and I have not done any job for some time now, even when my son became sick and was hospitalised and I needed some money to pay his bill.
“That was what led me into stealing. I broke into my neighbour’s house and stole her Plasma television, but I was caught in the act and the television set was collected back from me.”

You can no longer travel to Dubai with ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags

From Wednesday, March 8, Dubai will introduce a new baggage rule that will make bags without flat surfaces to be rejected at airports.

When this rule gets enforced, the popular Ghana Must Go bag that is very common among Nigerian travellers, will be regarded as “non-compliant baggage”.

Commenting on the development, Ali Angizeh, vice-president of terminal operations at the Dubai International, said irregular shaped or oversized bags could disrupt the advanced baggage systems that would soon be introduced.

He explained that the new rule would reduce the risk of baggage mishandling at check-in counters.

“Dubai International provides some of the most sophisticated baggage systems in the world,” Angizeh said.

“However, even the most technologically advanced systems can be disrupted by irregular shaped or oversized bags. Bags that are round or do not have a flat surface of any kind are by far the largest source of baggage jams.

“These jams can shut down sections of our system, delay baggage delivery to the aircraft and inconvenience our customers.

“We are trying to get the message out there as much as possible. Passengers, who show up at the airport with non-compliant baggage, will also be given the option to have it re-packed in boxes for a fee.”

He said airports have notified airlines operating into Dubai of the imminent change and has updated its websites to create more awareness.

Husband Catches Wife on their Matrimonial Bed with Her Ex

A married man, Gbenga Akinade, on Friday at an Ibadan Grade C Customary Court, secured the dissolution of his six-year-old marriage on grounds of infidelity.

He had told the court that his wife, Busayo, had s*x with her former husband on his (Gbenga’s) matrimonial bed, adding that he could no longer tolerate her adulterous way.

He testified that he met the defendant when she was hawking herbal liquor (Agbo-Jedi), and that both of them agreed to marry after few months of courtship.

He said, “I did not know that she was a divorcee with two kids until she got pregnant for me. I began to suspect her adulterous ways after she gave birth to our second child.

“She used to go out for two or three days, leaving the children with neighbours. Her immoral affairs with her ex-husband came into open recently when I caught her having s*x with the man on our matrimonial bed.

“I beat the hell out of her that day but allowed the man to go because unpleasant things might happen if I beat him.

“I decided for divorce in order to forget how I met her with her ex-husband on my bed.”

The petitioner prayed the court to allow him to have the custody of his children.

“I promise to take good care of them," he said.

The respondent was silent on the allegations, claiming that her husband regularly beat her.

NAN reported that she however pleaded with the court to peacefully resolve the conflict.

“I am not ready to leave my matrimonial home and my children," she begged.

President of the court, Chief Mukaila Balogun, dissolved the marriage on grounds of lack of love.

“The opinion of the court is that there is no more love between the parties based on the testimonies of the couple (husband in particular),’’ he said.

Balogun ordered that two of the three children should be in the custody of their father while the last child should be with the mother.

I Didn’t Marry Osas Because Of Her Green Card- Gbenro Ajibade

So Gbenro has spoken out for the first time abut not marrying his wife, Osas Igodaro for a Green card, despite the rumour has been circulating very quietly in the entertainment world. Speaking to Saturday Beats, Gbenro said his case was far from that and as a matter of fact it was love. He even said, himself and Osas were friends for a long time before they got intimate and Osas used to drop him at his girlfriend’s house. Till now I’m yet to get my Green card because I don’t seem to be interested now. He also dropped a shocker saying, himself and Osas got married legally in the US 2 years before people knew they were even dating. His undiluted words below…

“Right now, I have a bone to crack with her family because they think I am intentionally refusing to do my green card. I have not done it even now. It is funny how people think. I and Osas had been legally married in a court in the US two years even before the public knew we were going out. If I had wanted green card, I would have done it since but I felt it would be a distraction. I didn’t marry her because of that,” he said.

Talking about how he ended up marrying Osas, Gbenro said it was never his intention to get married let alone marrying a beauty queen.
“I was one of such persons who swore never to get married. I had an impression about marriage and love. It wasn’t up until I met the right person that the perception changed. Osas was my friend. The first time she came into the country, she even used to drop me off at my girlfriend’s house. We were that close up until the time we became really close. We had mutual interest and she had my back. Then, I had faced so many injuries from back stabbing and snitches. Our friendship is what has been keeping us going.”

I Denied My Mother When Poverty Became Unbearable- Skales

In a short interview with Punch, Skales spoke about how being poor made him deny his mother and the ‘hell’ they went through shortly after his father abandoned them. In fact here is how the news medium reports. Btw, it’s all smiles now as Skales already built a house for his mom back home.

“My father left us when I was really young; I do not even know how he looks like. My mother and I used to sleep in a shopping complex at a time. I am talking about during my primary and secondary school days in Kaduna. Then, the only hope for me was music. At some point, I told my mother I wanted to work and support her. I was chased out of school because I did not pay school fees. I had to steal school uniform because mine was bad and I would tell my mother I saved money for it.

“Also, my mother would go to my friends’ houses to do their laundry, which was embarrassing to me. I had to deny my mother. I also did not let my friends know where I lived because most of them were children of politicians. When I told my mother I was moving to Lagos, she asked me to finish my university education in Kaduna. But I convinced her I could cope. From Kaduna to Lagos, I got a free ride and the first place I stayed was Orile (Lagos). I lied to the person that gave me free ride that I would stay with him for a couple of days and it turned to months. He later started a label with some friends; they knew some people but it was not easy.”

Meanwhile, the singer who was rumoured to have fathered a child out of wedlock used the opportunity to deny the claims. In his words, he said that he does not have a baby mama and does not plan on having a child till he is married.

He hinted that he plans to get married in the next ten years.

He said, “No, I do not have any baby mama. I do not live a reckless life. I am a lover boy, I stick to a woman. But now, I am more focused on how to take my career to the next level. Everybody knows I am a very cool person. I just wake up and see stories I do not know about. There was a time I woke up and heard that a lady was pregnant for me. But the person did not show herself even when we sent out messages to the source.”

See Mother Who Threw Day Old Baby Inside Soakaway

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a woman for throwing her one-day-old infant into a soakaway shortly after delivering the baby at home.

The suspect, Juliana James, a native of Plateau State, wept profusely as she was paraded at the command’s headquarters in Bauchi, the capital, on Friday.

The mother of six said the current economic hardship in the country was responsible for her action as keeping the baby would have brought additional burden on them.

Tanzanian president, John Maguguli orders the seizure of expatriate passports

Tanzanian President, John Magufuli on Friday ordered the confiscation of passports belonging to foreign employees of an Indian infrastructure company managing a water project that is running late.
'The president has ordered that the passport of Rajendra Kumar, should be seized along with the travel documents of his assistants until they complete the water project,' Magufuli’s office said in a statement.
The order comes after the president was angered by the lack of progress on the $13 million water project in the southern town of Lindi, which was expected to be finished in March 2015 but remains incomplete.

In the statement, the president who is also referred to as 'the Bulldozer' because of his strict policies, gave the Indian representatives of the Overseas Infrastructure Alliance & Private Limited, four months to complete the project.
'Magufuli has warned that if the project is not completed within four months, he will take more stringent measures against those supervising the construction work,'  the statement said.
