We know madness when we see one – Nigerians drag Fayose to the mud over ‘fake’ China lecture

Governor Ayodele Fayose has been lampooned over pictures of him supposedly addressing Chinese businessmen was made public.
The pictures showed the Ekiti state governor at a podium in China delivering a lecture to investors. However, a close inspection of the supposed lecture hall indicated that it was a train terminal and a silly attempt to fool Nigerians.

Governor Fayose who is a vocal critic of President Muhammadu Buhari said he was visiting China not to take a loan like President Buhari but to meet investors at the Canton fair.
While some commenters described Fayose’s foolery as comical, others suggested that he had taken things too far by pretending to be in a lecture hall when actually he was at a train terminal.
Olorunda John Olusola said:
“Hmmmmmm! Ekiti people don enter one chance. The pictures as shown is train terminal where people are waiting for the train. i dey laugh oooooooo”
Idowu Falodun Adeniran on his part said:
“I only see this news as one of the many publicity stuncts of our Dear Gov. Ayodele Fayose. The 1st picture showed that somebody just went to pose by the podium to snap pix. The supposed audience were seen facing different directions while some were on their feet working around. These are more of Pix taken during recess hour of a programme aimed at deceiving the unsuspecting Nigerians that our Gov. was a speaker in the event. Kudos to Mr Fayose publicist! At least he is working for his money.”
Abolaji Sewhude Akande noted that there were no Chinese in the pictures.
“Where are the Chinese in these pictures? Which Chinese of note did he relate with? Fayose just went on excursion!”
