Nigeria’s U-20 team, Flying Eagles have qualified for the World Cup in Poland, following a 1-0 win over Niger Republic, in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Kano Pillars midfielder, Alhassan Adamu, scored the only goal of the game from a free-kick in the 73rd minute.
The victory also ensures a semi-final berth for the Flying Eagles.
Nigeria has won the competition a record of seven times.
